Creating & Sharing Without Overwhelm

Who this benefits: Writers unsure what to post or how to engage consistently.
*How to share work authentically (without feeling like they’re “selling” all the time)
*What to post if you don’t have a book to promote
*Repurposing one idea into multiple posts (so social doesn’t take over writing time)
*Realistic engagement strategies: connecting with other writers and readers without spending hours online
*Healthy ways to grow an audience slowly and naturally

This class is a part of a 3-class series. Each workshop stands alone, so you can attend any session or take the entire series for a well-rounded approach. Save 10% by purchasing the bundle of classes here.

About the instructor:
Jackie Rodriguez is the founder and CEO of Lumbre Media (loom-bray), a digital agency specializing in social media marketing. Since 2022, Lumbre has provided strategy development, content creation, and social media management for mission-driven brands and businesses. She is also the founder and director of Roots & Recipes, an upcoming documentary-style series exploring the intersection of cuisine, culture, and conversation through family recipes.

Alongside her entrepreneurial and creative work, Jackie works in the finance sector at Capital Group, an investment management firm. She has nearly a decade of experience in marketing and communications, having worked for local and statewide-serving nonprofits like Indiana Humanities and Immigrant Welcome Center. She is an alumna of Indy Hub’s 1828 Leadership Program, the International Center’s Jim Morris Global Leadership Series, and was recognized as a 2021 Indy Maven Woman to Watch.

Jackie takes a critical view of social media and digital platforms, examining how algorithms, AI, and Big Tech influence and control our attention in these alternate realities. This perspective shapes her marketing philosophy, which is rooted in holistic and sustainable practices, prioritizing community-building and connection over vanity metrics and fleeting trends.
